What can I expect?

Visiting a new church for the first time can be very intimidating.

We understand that you have questions…let us help with the answers…

What if I don’t know anyone?

At BWC, we want to make your visit a great one so come on in anyway. We promise not to bite, kick, yell or make you sit up front for everyone to stare at. You will find friendly people with smiles on their faces and a warm handshake to greet you at the door and help you get situated. If you have questions, just ask.

What if I don’t have the right clothes?

You don’t need the “right” clothes, but you do need to “be” clothed.  Seriously, don’t sweat it. You will notice that everyone is dressed comfortably in everything from “office casual” to jeans and the occasional pair of flip-flops. So “come as you are!” We are sure that you will fit right in.

What do I do with my kids?

Bring ‘em… you don’t have to leave them in the car. Your children are welcome to worship with us. We also offer a nursery staffed with loving and caring adults. You may want your older child to attend our BWC Children’s church. Ask someone at the door and they will gladly direct you on where to go or click on BWC kids under our Ministries tab for more info.

What kind of music will they have? Will I recognize any of the songs?

Service begins with live music led by our worship team and/or choir.  You may hear a song played on the local Christian radio station or a great hymn with a modern twist. We love to worship through music and can’t wait for you to join us.

The Sermon?

The sermons are designed to be Biblically based, relevant to daily life, interesting, and enjoyable. At the end of service, you should have experienced solid Christian teaching that was understandable and relevant. Our desire is to provide everyone who walks through our door a genuine transformational experience of God.
